AVR Protect problem

Good day mga gurus, please help..... my receiver (sony ht-ddw1600) has this message "PROTECT" appearing, and it will turn off after a few seconds. Thanks po in advance.

sir check the speaker wirings at the back, baka may nagdikit. Unplug the receiver first though :)

if that "protect" message does not go away after a few minutes, then your amp could have a very large output off-set voltage, caused by defective parts, the protect mode is there to save your speakers from burn-outs...

have your amp serviced by a qualified tech.
