Just want to ask about WDTV

hi to all

im new here, sorry if i posted this in a wrong section. anyway i wanted to buy a wdtv but i dont know what should i get, should i get the old wdtv or the wdtv live?

also where can i get hd movies for wdtv? where can i buy them? or should i buy dvd and just convert it for my wdtv?
