I was supposed to be posting some pics comparing this unit with a 42' Plasma but unable to do so as of this time because of the holidays.

Anyway, the family just uses the plasma from time to time when watching Cable TV.

Just love showing off to friends and relatives. Problema lang pagod sa pag-entartain at paglilinis. It's all worth it though just seeing the smiles on their faces.

how about the hd803 ... what's your take about this dlp 1080p hd projector ?

okay lang ba sa mga ganitong projector na pag naka ceiling mount na eh nabubugahan ng aircon sa rear part nya ?

The HD20 has exceeded my expectation for an el cheapo 1080p DLP projector. It has a 3,000 hr bulb but I expect to buy a new projector after those hours are done. Hopefully the replacement will cost $500 by then.

Sure it has shortcomings but it's $1000! + shipping.  ;D

Sorry, can't comment on the 803 as i haven't seen one in action. Haven't had much luck searching other forums as well.

hi, can anyone suggest kung pano maipapadala dito 1 unit OptomaHD20. the unit is from my brother in Bakersfield, California. and san maganda bumili other than bestbuy and circuit city.. thank you all

Bought my unit online thru Amazon (TigerDirect Seller). Had it delivered to my sister based in Arizona. She brought the unit with her by removing the box and just tucked it safely on her baggage. That's the risk I have to take. Although it is still covered by warranty, the unit has to be brought back to the US should any problem arise. I am not sure if the unit is covered by international warranty just like hp notebooks. You might want to call the optoma distributor here in the philippines if they honor such warranty.
