Hi Sir hotrod, assuming you have the internal HDD inserted and your measy  is also connected to your network, you have to upgrade the firmware to V0006.23AW, download it (to your PC) through the measy website, you'll have to use a download manager in order to complete the file download, (windows download manager is sooo slow and always stops at 15%). After downloading the file, extract it to the root of your usb, then insert it in the measy usb port, then go to setup, choose system and scroll down,  then click system update, choose system upgrade. hope it help

i also have this fw, observation ko hindi stable mag-play ang mp4, nagpo-pause madalas, has anyone else experienced this?

try setting the audio output to LPCM, mine too stutters when playing mp4 files, but when I set it to LPCM, stutterings gone. I observed it (stuttering) when playing mp4 with AAC audio file and the measy is set to RAW. Any way you can set it back to RAW whenever you play dolby or dts files

Glad to be of help, I guess nothing's perfect talaga.. sa popcorn walang sound ang AAC file when set to RAW, sa measy nag stutter naman...hehe

Hi Bro, in the FILE COPY menu, RED button is for sellecting/marking the file you want to copy, GREEN is for cancelling the sellections. YELLOW and BLUE buttons are for deleting or renaming your video or music file.

I use Samsung model SE-S084C/RSBN as my usb portable dvd rom.....reg the colored button, it is use for sellecting/marking the file you want to copy. Depends on the fw if what color for it.

As for Deleting/Rename/Cancel a file, in FW 3.6. You use the TITLE button beside the " 0 ".

And last question, when using external DVD with the media player can you play the complete Movie/concert just like an ordinary DVD player with Title Menu and root menu.  OR this will just to VIEW the .VOB files and can be watch per file of .VOB

I think for the moment it can't :-) A new fw coming up end of this month or early november. It will have lots of surprise package...so watch for it.

2. audio output on yamaha receiver, i can't distinguish if its on 5.1 dts or what. normally when playing with dvd player, the receiver would automatically detects the audio output from the source.

is there anybody here encountered same as i did?
comments and suggestions will be very helpful
