hi to all.... nweiz here it goes... im a noob, gusto sana bumili ng 5.1 na speakers eh... kaso ang problema ko lang medyo tight ang budget ko, at around 5k. kaya if you guys can help me out para makapili ng affordable yet medyo maganda naman na speakers pls give ur advice, it would be pretty much appreciated... thanks talaga.....

i bought the 89dv out of all your reccomendations here. i'm a little disappointed kasi ang hina ng surround & subwoofer. anong solusyon ninyo to compensate for these? i also want to know if there are special cables that i can buy, kasi masyadong maikli yung cables para sa surround speakers. are there special connectors, or will I need to splice cables?

yup! that's also my concern. nahihinaan ako sa sub..

how about using a Y connector attached to the sub out of the dvd player. this way you now have two sub outs from your dvd. now you can add an active subwoofer and at the same time you can still attach the sub of ronxin. havent tried it yet...

uubra po ba ito mga sirs....?

kung hindi benta ko nalang 89DV ko then bili ako TEACpld2100. auditioned it already. im impressed.

connect the 5.1 output of your dvd player to the 5.1 input of your rongxin.. you need to have 3 pairs of interconnect for this.. enjoy...

ah ok , kasi ginawa ko I connected the sattelite speakers sa sub then connected the sub dun sa analog output ng player.
ganun pala yon hehehehe.. salamat

Para sakin naman ok na ok yung subs and yung surround ok na din fro me.Natodo nyo na ba yung volume ng sub and bass? malakas yun,pero yun nga iba iba lang talaga tayo ng pandinig.Yung space ko kase maliit lang yung surround as in nasa tabi lang nung chair namin na nasa front ng tv.For the price, best bang for the buck ito in my own experince ha. Nga pala, can anyone help me kung pano ico-connect yung 89dv sa pc? onboard yung sounds ko e e di ba isa lang saksakan sa likod ng pc for speakers.Pano un?

Meron p bng 89dv ngayon s Raon? Ano yung store uli? Magkano? Xtreme 6500a yung player ko, puede mong mkontrol yung volume ng rear, front and center. Sbi nila mahina kapag DD. Kung lakasan kaya sa player lalakas kaya yung surround? Magiging OK kaya?

i'm a satisfied owner of rongxin 89dv until for over a year now until last night while i was watching biglang naging grounded ang sound nung sub... ang ooooozzzzzzing sound came out and never stopped. i'll try to check it out this weeken kung bakit ganun...

have you guys encountered this?

Have a Rongxin 89DV for six months now. It sounds really, really fine when its working. Me and my friends who have friends who have heard it are equally impressed. Ang problema lang is sira-in talaga. First week pa lang, sira na yung subwoofer so I had to have it repaired. A month ago, I've noticed medyo imbalanced yung sound, tried checking what's wrong. Wala pala sound yung left front speaker nya. Problem is subwoofer na naman.
So I guess suerte-suerte lang. But I suggest if you have money and you want something more long term, bili na lang kayo ng mas branded na sound system.

I was to buy the RONGXIN 89DV last Saturday sa Hope Star... okay sound niya pino kaya lang nabitin ako kasi mahina siya for my taste tapos the wooden design is quite outdated di bagay sa TV and DVD player ko na all silver and the wires for the surround is just too d**n short

I ended up buying the Vixual 5.1 speaker system being offered also by the pretty vendor of Hope Star... it has a decent look and malakas ang sound output, has separate volume settings for the fronts, center, surrounds and the sub (remote controlled na rin); has long wires for the surrounds, speakers has provision for wall mounting. Medyo depressed ako nung umuwi since ang mind set ko is to get nga the RONGXIN 89DV sana from the positive feedbacks I gathered in this thread... when I arrived at home and pagkaset-up ko nung VIXUAL eh napaltan ang lungkot ko ng kasiyahan!

   Aandar sub mo pre if you connect your sakura to your sub (89dv). What I did was connect my dvd sub output to sakuras sub input then I used another jack to connect sakuras output to 89dv sub input.
   Ganito yun pareng jmigs..

up ko lang hoping na buhay pa yung mga 89dv owners.

nagloloko na yung vol control ng 89dv ko. balak ko na lang bumili ng sakura amp. kailangan din ba naka on yung rongxin kung yung sub nya gagamitin ko rin.

Rongxing 88DV subwoofer and satellites am selling mine na after three years of use

I purchased sakura 387A amplifier, Daichi PL25 center, Daichi PL10/502 towers and custom made surrounds
