AMC's immensely popular zombie series The Walking Dead has been deemed worthy of a special edition re-release by Anchor Bay Entertainment. The distributor has announced The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season: Special Edition and The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season: Limited Edition, both of which will street on October 4th (just in time for the show's second season premiere on October 16th). The new sets will include 3-discs with all new bonus features not included on the season's initial Blu-ray release.
