I still think denon 1912 is best for you just for the sound quality of the multi XT(yes the euro/philippine model has multi XT

) but its really up to the op.
I know avshop sells one.

He partnered it with Monitor Audios (5.1), I thought it wouldn't sound that good but it really did. Napahanga ako sa Pioneer as I thought only the Elites were worth it.

Did a side by side demo today of the Onky 313 Vs. the pioneer 521 using my Bose 301. They sounded very similair but the Pioneer a bit warmer and the Onkyo maybe a bit brighter?
Unfortuantely neither will handle an upgrade to a more power hungry speaker. Will now shop around for a while and do more demos.

its definitely not going to sound good. you have to listen to it calibrated.

mga boss what store is willing to calibrate for a demo? para ma puntahan at baka dun ako bumili for good service. i went to several stores already at wala pong nag demo w/ pleasure lahat prang pilit except for listening room & listen up but still they didn't offer calibration & they have small & open space. maybe becoz i'm inquiring about entry to mid level only hahaha. thanks

I think he was comparing the sonic signature before processing (AVR set to direct), to see if it would synergize with his speakers.

That is the strategy of Onkyo for you to buy it because of Audyssey...

Out of the box it sound crap so that you will appreciate Audyssey.

Heck! Even my crappy mini-component sounded better in movies.

try mark from AVshop. architecture audio in greenbelt, listening room megamall, sound and vision sa banaue.

Same can be said with all the other brands with calibration. its the room interacting with the amp. My pioneer lx 53 sounded shrill when i first opened it. I had to run mcacc just to get rid of it.

fyi the 313 does not come with any form of audyssey.

Had no problems with the Onkyo 705 for years. It ran flawlessly and i enjoyed every bit of it until i had to let it go and sell it since it hd no 3D features. I upgraded to an 818 now. And so far so good.

Merun na bang naka experience ng "Issues" sa Onkyo 2012 lineup?

Now, seriously considering Denon 2113CI.... hmmmmmm.....

Initially, I wanted a 616 or a 717... kaso, merun issues.....
