Same seller as the one in Carousell. Unless this experience is one off, or there's a positive transaction, then you have the reason for the low price.

Sa akin naman wala issue during testing. Caroussel seller pero sa Ansons ang pickup.

After 3 months nagka grayish and bluish color sa white screen. Pinalitan agad ang panel, no questions asked.

That was a good deal.  Was it installment or straight payment?

It was 3 months installment zero interest ;)

Dahil ba in-upscale ito or may soap opera effect?

And color reproduction is superb.

How do you guys clean your OLED screens?

May mga ibang OLED models na may upscaling na maganda (Sony is the best at doing this followed by LG). It makes footage look like it's 60FPS/4K kahit hindi naman.

But yes, yung blacks talaga ng OLED is a gamechanger.

I use a lens cleaning cloth to do it along with a cheap screen cleaning spray I bought on Shopee.  I have pets who put their paws on the screen so I periodically need to clean the TV.

The new mini-LEDs coming out are actually quite good.

While OLEDs will always have deeper blacks, mini-LEDs with thousands of dimming zones will come close enough that you will only distinguish the difference if both TV's were side-by-side.  Meanwhile, color rendition is very very good on a mini-LED.

In fact, in a bright living room, I would probably recommend a mini-LED over an OLED.  More so if the tv will be used for shows that might make an OLED potentially incur image retention issues (news, sports, movie channels with logos, etc).  Also, mini-LEDs can be bought at much larger sizes.

Do not use any liquid spray as the tv screen is already treated. makakasira lalo na alcohol.

I was gonna move my sony oled 65 inch a9g to my living room and buy a 90 plus inch oled. But i wanted a sony. Max is only 77 inches. Lg may have it. Samsung have a 98 inch but qled ata.

I ended up just getting a viewsonic 4k 701 projector,  and changed my 1080p acer out.

Rest of my budget, i just got a marantz 6007, polk es12 subwoofer and more 4k discs hehe.

Would your A9G fare against Bravia A80L and the newest Bravia 8 OLED?

Would you notice a difference?
Or placebo for you?

My a9g is only a few years old. I haven't really compared it to the a80l and 8 oled because i just decided on getting a projector.

For blacks, the oled is really beautiful. When my wife watches the korean dramas on netflix (they have lots of dark scenes in their movies and series) the picture is really beautiful. I will always buy a sony.

I usually compare tvs by bringing my own flash drive. I haven't compared the new ones with my a9g but i don't think the picture quality is really far off. Maybe the new ones have better contrast or brightness, but i think its just a slim advantage vs my a9g

There was a 48" available during the C2 era (I had bought one then sold it less than a month later). A year later, a 42" was also available (C3).   I think a 42" was still available early this year (LG C4 model) as I remember seeing one at an Abenson branch.

Ngayon parang wala na yatang stocks under 55".

For those of you thinking of getting a C4 this year, the 65" is at ₱72.5k to ₱75k on FB Marketplace (be cautious, as usual). The 55" is at 58k to 60k.

LG usually doesn't drop prices this early so take advantage.

this is way expensive compared to competitions.

It has a 3-year warranty so I think the price is justified.  Meanwhile, Samsung's OLEDs only have a 1-year warranty; Philips, LG and Sony have 2-year warranties.

This Regza uses an LG panel, btw.  This should be interesting when the discount sales kick in by Feb and March.

If you want a bigger panel, I think the 98" QLED from TCL is nearly the same price as a 75" Bravia 7.

Manufacturing date is Sept. 2018 but our  maintenance sticker shows  Nov.2018.  So 6 years ng heavy use..sulit na rin.

Yeah common area kse...but it's a testament to the robustness ng LG OLED..sa mga movies and HBOchannel napaka oks pa...kapag ginagamit as presentation screen dun lang napapansin kse nag iiba color sa powerpoint.
