Topic: NMT that can jukebox across 4 x 4TB HDDs

hi,

any suggestions on an NMT that can jukebox across 4 x 4TB HDDs (16TB total)... i currently have 887 MP4s, 551 MKVs (1080p mostly TrueHD or DTS-MA) and less than 100 ISOs...

our current NMTs are 1 WDTV Live Hub and 1 Egreat R6S Plus Pro... the WDTV can do it but it's starting to hang (stop mid movie) and it has no DTS-MA output... while the Egreat can only jukebox 1 drive at a time...

our preferences as follows:
- able to jukebox across drives
- able to output DTS-MA and DD TrueHD
- built in wifi or can use a dongle
- able to scrape media info
- (optional) able to play High10 encoded videos
- (optional) able to convert AAC 5.1 to LPCM

i have a couple of proboxes here... the media storage will be via USB 3.0 or eSATA

the android based media players are mostly 1 port, 1 device and does not support Probox's multidrive, multi USB devices (android (i use Hi media) will only see the 1st drive), so i ended up for my 720p/1080p collection in JBOD/RAID0 (4 x 3TB) running on ProRAID 4 bay encolusre (alternate to this, try mo po sir yung kay garfield na 4 bay RAID-0 or JBOD.)

for your purpose, my suggestion is to go JBOD to see all drives in one flat directory, the downside is you'll have to copy your files over as it does a reformat on drives.  if that is not an option, my PCH C200 indexes naman all 2 x 8 drives (Probox 8 bay) via its jukebox so i think that would work for you. Sigma chip  pa!

thanks. maybe it's a sigma thing then. i ended up getting the wdtv live smp (sigma based) which goes side-by-side with the egreat (wdtv does not have bluray iso capability. egreat does.).

the NMJ kasi of PCH C200 in particular is quite good (including seeing multidrive USB like probox),  pede pa bluray ISO and BDMV. check mo si ert baka may old C200 pa siya. (perfect if you are not into 3D movies)
