Maybe the same issue and this is just a guess. It would be better if the defective led/ led strip be found and replaced imo.But the yt solution costs almost nothing. Psa: Charged caps on power boards are high voltage and can cause serious harm.

You might want to contact Mr. Alfredo Pandan. He does led tv's and other electronics. I had an amplifier repaired by him but since he is from Parañaque and I am in Manila, I just had it delivered thru lalamove, paid him in gcash and had picked-up the same way. Ang maganda is he charges very fairly. You can also watch his tutorial vlogs here:

brought my sony 4k 43x8000e to authorized sony service center, initial deposit of 1060 for evaluation, the tv opens up to the sony logo and android initialization then shuts down with 6 blinking red lights..  most likely backlight daw..

when i called this afternoon, i have to pay in advance 6,960 daw as initial estimate..

namamahalan ako.. kaya ito sa tabi-tabi na tv technician?  36k nun 2018

Try mo sa Love electronics kung may malapit sa inyo, at least duon may warranty.

Kung backlight issue, alam ko eh mag turn on yan then may sound pero walang video. Tapos pag tutukan mo ng flashlight eh makikita mo yung video na sobrang labo na pala kasi may problem na yung backlight

kakalagpas pa lang ng 3 years yung panasonic 65 inch ko nag flicker yung upper left hand portion ng screen
nag inquire ako pagawa 6500 abutin tapos 3 months warranty

if you like your tv still, for me I would have it repaired @P6,500 rather than dishing out 20 to 30k for a new one. fingers cross lang tayo after repair it would have longer extended life span.

My 49" LG TV was flickering. I paid P3500 to get it repaired.  Now useable but colors are not perfect in certain spots.   Tiisin muna until magka-budget para palitan.

Yun sony 43” okay naman so far after maybe 2 months repaired though 8k ang repsir cost
