Most sellers are quick to accept and set order to  "Preparing for Shipment" status disabling the Cancel Order option.

I noticed that some sellers where I previously purchased items from via credit card, no longer offer the same mode of payment.  So the most convenient for me would then be via COD.  I wonder why they took out the credit card option whether it's the seller who took it out or Shopee.

So I might explore ShopeePay too.

Using credit cards are just more convenient for me. I think it's a bit tedious transferring funds to ShopeePay. Plus the P25 charge for the transfer.

Yeah tried that route.  BDO to gcash (P25 fee) to Shopeepay.  Easier just to click on credit card.  And I do see those free shipping and cashback vouchers.  I think Shopee provides 3-5 of those vouchers per month and refreshes them every month.  Which is enough for me.

It does depend on how frequent you use the platform. If you're a fairly frequent user you can easily run out of the free shipping vouchers and you'll only need a single one to offset the measly 25 pesos of loading your Gcash from the bank. Moreover, you can always transfer a single large amount instead of multiple smaller ones to avoid incurring multiple fees.

I ordered a 155 liter storage box for my UV box project, which explains the high shipping fee. That fee is actually pretty tame, there was one seller with a shipping fee in excess of 800 pesos, one ~600 pesos, and others ~300 pesos. I used a cashback voucher and free shipping voucher provided by using ShopeePay and with the two combined it more than offset the shipping fee, since the coins can be used like cash within the platform

nagiging haven for scammers na rin ang shopee at lazada.  Mga false advertisment. Ipapakita pic ng legit item, for eg. office chairs, tapos pagdating sayo kinopya lang pala na parang ginawa lang sa likod ng bahay nila.  Kaya ako sa feedback pics lang tinitignan ko..wala naman kwenta mga comments. 90% about packaging and speed of delivery.

True, kaya best kung relatively cheap items lang talaga ang bilin. Due diligence rin kailangan, for example sobrang daming walang kwentang negative feedback dahil nasa description naman ang details pero hindi binasa ng buyer e.g. number of items for the price, dimensions ng item, etc. For the latter ang dami nagre-rely sa pic, muka daw malaki pero pagdating maliit lang. Pero exact dimensions nasa description naman

platinum member din ako sa shopee, so far my experience is generally ok. pati bills namin, usually dun na ko nag babayad. for payment I always use credit card, mas madali rin mag refund if needed.

last holiday season lang nagkaissue, I ordered ipads pang regalo sa kids, pero nag kaproblema sa courier. automatic refund naman yung amount.

ang hindi lang maganda sa shopee is yung free shipping karaniwan via shopee pay na which I don't use.
