If this were another show, that LGBTQ+ scene would have created a possible backlash. Especially since hindi pala ito based sa actual source material. Just goes to show that how good this series is.

It happened again — HBO’s hit series House of the Dragon has been hit with another online leak ahead of its season two finale.

Dozens of clips from the eighth episode, scheduled to premiere on Aug. 4, were illegally uploaded to a new TikTok account Tuesday night, less than a week before the finale was set to drop.

HBO addressed the leak in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, “We are aware that clips from the House of the Dragon season finale have surfaced across social media platforms. The clips were posted after an unintentional release from an international third-party distributor. HBO is aggressively monitoring and removing clips from the internet, and fans can watch the episode in its entirety this Sunday night on HBO and Max.”

Maybe they should have extended the runtime of the season finale. With a longer runtime, they could've ended that episode with a better cliffhanger and not just more "build-up" scenes. Season 3 is like almost two years away. $:-\$

‘House of the Dragon’ to End With Season 4, Season 3 to Begin Production in Early 2025

During a press conference on Monday discussing the Season 2 finale of “House of the Dragon,” showrunner and co-creator Ryan Condal revealed that the “Game of Thrones” prequel will include two more seasons, and will conclude with Season 4.

Condal also confirmed that the third season is currently being written, they will be doing prep for it in the fall, with the plan to go into production in “earlyish 2025.”

Elsewhere during the Monday presser, Condal addressed why the Season 2 finale didn’t include the Battle of the Gullet, an iconic story beat from “Fire & Blood” that is the logical next point in the “House of the Dragon” plot.

“We we were trying to give the Gullet, which is arguably the most anticipated — well, I would say maybe the second-most-anticipated — action event of ‘Fire & Blood,’ trying to give it the time and the space that it deserves,” Condal said. “Obviously, as anybody that’s seen the finale, we’re building to that event. That event will happen very shortly in terms of the storytelling of ‘House of the Dragon.’

I think they will not go beyond 8 episodes. Mukha naka plan na lahat hanggang last season which is season 4. If ever, they might just extend the time per episode.

Lagi naman underwhelming mga season finales ng "Thrones" episodes and at best may namamatay lang (Jon Snow, Luke) and usually intended to set up the next season.

The good thing is, if its book accurate, mas maraming action sa next season (guaranteed na may dalawang big battles minimum) and the finale showed why. I'm guessing S4 will be the "boring" one by far with the series trying to wrap up the storylines.
