Hostage Drama. KD exhibiting his full diva abilities. Something that other teams should be wary about.  What if they gave up a king's ransom for him and then just after a year he creates this sort of drama in your team?  He could set your organization back for decades.

Lost all respect to this guy. Being one of the best player in the planet does not give you the right to impose on the owner. Just like that he has created his path to oblivion.

MLB did it first by retiring No 42 of Jackie Robinson across the league in 1997. There are however several players who continued to wear No 42 and most notably the great Mariano Rivera of the NY Yankees wore it last until his retirement in 2013. Rivera said he felt the pressure living up to the expectation especially when he is the only one wearing the number.
