Luka reminds me of those battlecruisers of the Kriegsmarine, the Scharnhorst in particular: It was being hunted by the Grand Fleet, which proved a difficult task because the Scharnhorst was too fast for any Royal Navy battleship (with guns larger than its 11-inchers) and too powerful for any Royal Navy cruiser (6-8 inch guns).
