Medyo flawed din kasi yung organization nila for very long time. Mga draft picks na hindi nag pan out, trades that were one sided (for the other team that is), weak coaching courtesy of the Doc Rivers era etc. Haluan mo pa ng kamalasan like injuries during the lob city years which I believed was their best shot at going to the finals and now more injuries during the Kawhi-PG13 era. May self inflicted issues din like the racist owner in Donald Sterling.
If you think about it, LA area din naman sila so free agents who want the LA lifestyle have a choice between the Lakers and the Clips. Willing naman mag spend si Balmer to field a competitive team.
Maybe in time everything will align for them. I always think that for one to be a champion sa NBA eh everything will align for you....your roster, zero injuries, the type of opponent you will face will favor your team in matchups, your coaching staff will be able to come up with the proper strategies and adjustments etc.
That just goes to show na sobrang hirap na umabot sa Finals much more manalo sa Finals. Wala talagang tried and tested roadmap eh. Even the Superteam route isnt a guarrantee.
