Mark Williams will soon get a huge bump in his $4M salary so as long as he can set good picks, roll to the basket and catch the ball off a lob....oh he needs to protect the paint and rebound too.  He needs to stay healthy as well.

He better get ready...The Lakers have three players that love to run the pick and roll.  This is his chance to go bigtime and earn generational wealth for his family.

If it doesn't work out then he can be easily moved given his salary.  Easy to move players that earn rookie deals than mega contracts.

Blessing na din for LAL because imagine if that medical issue wasn't discovered then we just gave away DK, Cam and a FIRST ROUND pick for someone that will ride the bench.  Blessing as well for Williams because he can now focus on treatment or conditioning to address what was discovered.  Yun lang bagsak trade value nya sa entire league.

Given the circumstances, the Lakers have the buyout market to explore as a stop gap for the rest of the season. Daniel Theis was waived by OKC. He can fit the role.  They are better off attracting that coveted Center of the future this offseason.  They will have 2 First round picks by then plus they can absorb more salary since they have several players that will go off the books.

If they want to get a great center in the off season they can trade AR15 whose value is at an all time high.  45-7-7 kanina....the youngest to have that kind of stat line in LA since....The Black Mamba.
