Guys.. Ask lang ko if meron kayo alam na HTIB with optical input that can decode the sound of a movie particularly to 5.1 played through the tv's built in media player? Mga 7k budget

Yun panasonic ko may optical input pero unfortunately, it cannot decode 5.1 PCM, DD or DTS signal.

Yung LG DH/BH 6320 may optical. Not sure if can decode DTS though. They're on sale now at P10K and P14K respectively.

Thanks for the heads up sir. bh 6320 can decode dts sir. Maganda din user reviews kaya lang I'm looking for a bluray htib talaga with hdmi inputs sir para I can connect my ps3.

ask ko lang guys panget ba ang magiging sound kapag bumili ako ng bluray player I'm going to pair,connect it sa samsung hometheater via optical wala siya dts decoder. 5.1 stereo sound lang ang kaya niya i-produce? 2 channels lang? Tia

It really depends if your samsung is capable of decoding DTS, DD etc via optical input. Plus the fact that you can't take advantage of the HD audio from your BD.

Samsung HT-D330K ht ko Sir, Cannot decode DTS,Can only decode DD. Should I just buy a bluray htib with hdmi inputs to enjoy hd sound? thanks sir

I'm thinking of upgrading na my HTIB. Currently have Panasonic SCPT85, almost 2 years old. What would you recommend for Bluray HTIB, budget around 10k -13k. Has optical. Thanks!

Just sharing my feedback on the Pioneer HTZ-222BD Bluray HTIB (P 11,990)

Dolby True-HD
3D Bluray
MKV playback
SACD

Speakers sound BAD
Bluetooth card is not included
Volume is a bit low compared to other HTIB
MKV playback not as clear as a media player
Just youtube for net content


It has a lot of features for the price,  just the 2 HDMI inputs make it a great option to simplify some setups.  Xtreamer Prodigy, Apple TV and the Bluray all through one HDMI to my Projector. Unfortunately I was not satisfied with the sound, it sounds hollow and has a slight echo.   I ended up replacing the speakers with the ones from my Samsung HT-X30 and it sounds much better.   If the features meet your needs be sure to audition it first to see if you are satisfied with the sound.

Pang living room lang naman sya na katamtaman lang ang laki, actually pwede nga sabihin na maliit lang sya.

Not sure how to start, but anyway may nakapag suggest sakin ng Onkyo HTIB na ang price range daw ay 25-30k. Hindi ko alam kung mas mura sa mga suki nyo po so sana matulungan nyo ako.

don't get the S3400. it doesn't have a subwoofer pre-out and its subwoofer is passive.

I would add to your list the Denon 1312XP.


but if I were you, I would build my system slowly starting with a receiver and front speakers.

What about S3500? Which is better, Denon 1312XP or Onkyo S3500?

My budget is trimmed down to 25,000 after buying my TV today. So please suggest an HTIB within the budget.

Sir masmaganda tumunog ang denon 1312xp, naka active sub kasi sya and bigger ang sattelite speakers nya. Masmahal lang sya sa onkyo s3500. Hope it helps.

Kalipat lng namin ni misis ngayon sa isang apartment and for now mejo maliit pa ung place namin... Hope you could suggest any ideas for a 20-25k budget na magamit ko pa rin ung bose... TIA!

Ok lang ihalo mo. Just don't play it too loud baka masira ang acoustimass mo. Kung contented ka na, then your good to go!

For P20-25k, makakabili ka na ng pre-owned receiver, center, left and right speakers na maayos. Ang kung maganda ang timing mo, baka makakuha ka pa ng surrounds sa budget mo.

For sub, there are also preowned around P6k-P12k. There is also pilyo sub for P12k ata.

Question, are you really keen on using your acoustimass for a little serious HT use?
