just purchased this monster set of speaker and would like to buy a decent (but not pricey) sat stand for my sorround...

do you have any suggestion gurus? better yet, can you point me to the right direction?

diba ang DD and DTS are digital signals that can be pass through Optical and/or Coaxial cables?

paired z5500 with audigy digital entertainment via analog (3 wires) cables, and playing  DVD's using PowerDVD with all the upgrades.

kapag ginagamit ko ung DTS output sa PowerDVD, mas dynamic ang sound compared sa DD (na that's should be the case right?)...
ito ang tanong, did i get DTS through the analog cables or just because PowerDVD decoded it already?!

btw ung coaxial port sa audigy kailangan pa ng "adapter" diba? saan ako makakahanap nun?

If you are using analog connections, you get decoded DD/DTS.

saka ung display kasi ng z5500 walang indicator (using analog) kung nakadts/dd ako hehe

nasanay na kasi ako sa yamaha ko na auto detect siya

question regarding z5500 or other multimedia speakers ..
is it ok to change the speakers?  afaik, if i get a mission fronts (over 100watts RMS) the speaker cant be damaged by the amp of the z5500 right?  but how about the amp of my z5500, will it be prone to heat cause of the higher rated speakers?

We have this speaker for my dad in his room, Your personal settings always goes back to zero, whenever you power off the unit.

Maybe the internal battery is already dead? But we bought the unit brandnew.

you can plug the audio out  of your pv8 using this




switch to stereo 1-3, then plug in the 3.5mm to any of the 3 3.5mm female (you can use upto 3 stereo signals e.g. cdplayer, ipod etc.)

Hi guys do you know anyone na nag rerepair ng control unit nun mga z5500? kasi nun days na maulan puro patay sindi yun kuryente tapos nag loko na yun akin nag palit ako ng fuse then bumukas na yun control unit but the prob is wala na silang sound, kahit pindutin yun test sa remote for speakers totally wala na tapos nag frfreeze na yun mga sulat sa control unit.. out of warranty nadin kasi ito and was planning to get na yun mga onkyo or any receivers kung no choice na ito ma repair. sayang
