3-spot surround
« on: Aug 16, 2006 at 02:36 PM »
How can you setup Pioneer's 3-spot surround properly?

can it simulate rear-placed surround speakers good enough?

maybe im doing something wrong cuz i can't feel sound effects coming from the rear.
do i need a wall to bounce the sound?

thanks!

I've been trying to justify you.
In the end I will just defy you.

i'm currently using the HTZ131 and it says  there, u have to position the rear speakers in front and here what it says in the manual:

" Front surround 3-spot setup
This setup is ideal when rear surround speaker placement isn't possible or you want toavoid running long speaker cables in your listening area. Use this setup together with the Front Surround modes to take advantage of wall and ceiling reflections for a very realistic surround effect."

i guess you also have to turn the front speakers on...

well, u have to place ur rear speakers to where they should be, rear... hehehehe... then set it the audfio mode to auto so it can detect DD and DTS automatically...
