An Affair to Remember (1957)

The requested late night movie, a great romantic classic. It received a sales boost in 1993 after being referred to in "Sleepless in Seattle", creating yet another generation of viewers.

This is probably the first copy I have of this movie that I've been able to view more than once, all the previous media from Beta, LDs and DVDs would always get nicked shortly after viewing. Looks like I get to keep this a little longer. Best audio and video quality ever for this movie.

Oblivion: Blu-ray SteelBook (UK)

Just finished watching it....twice. Once as normal and once with the isolated score. Truly magnificent. Fave film of 2013 by a very large margin.

The Amazing Spiderman (2012) - I prefer Andrew Garfield as Spiderman than Toby Maguire. This reboot has another version of the Spiderman story. Personally, my best Spiderman movie is still Maguire's Spiderman 2 but I am looking forward to have this version followed up by sequels.

Audio and Video is top notch!

Evita (1996)

Great blu, best quality ever for this film. The late night requested movie, seemed appropriate for the day elected to barbecue pork.

Great music, and a roller coaster emotion ride. People will allow themselves to be fleeced if they're given a great show or a temporary respite from their misery. Evita succeeded doing this and people clamored for her to be "Santa Evita". I doubt that any of our local porkers can even get close to this, save for "the true, the good and the beautiful"

, who was asked but turned down Webber and Rice for a similar musical.
