The Madonna Confessions Tour DVD really impressed me. Besides having a DTS track (which is superb and made me feel like I was in London), the production itself was very good. I wonder how many cameras they used in this, as there are multi-multi-angle shots in all performances.

By the way but you may catch a glimpse of two Philippine Lenten traditions in the background image projection of one performance (I forgot which). They're the scene with penitents whipping their backs and a crucifiction scene from Pampanga.

I'm not a Madonna fan, but when I watched this concert, she is really awesome.  The production is very impressive especially Live To Tell and Music Inferno.

Still world peace

I know. I was very surprised at how this number came across while she was on the cross, with the illumination and the laser like effects. I had seen the NBC broadcast version of this concert, and it was very different. It was completely a video montage, and they only showed her when she was off the cross already, so essentially they censored the best part.

The back cover art says it's a Region 1 Disc, but pressed locally. Is this accurate?

Yeah, I also like the packaging, even if the booklet's glued to the jacket. Better, so it won't get lost.

It is a misprint, though. I checked on my laptop, and the DVD is a Region 3-4-5 dual layer NTSC disc.

now that the confessions tour has been released, will warner please start working on the ff:
1. the virgin tour - in detroit, michigan (with missing footage of borderline, burning up, etc.)
2. blond ambition - in nice, france or in japan (yokohama?)
3. reinvention tour - in lisbon, portugal
4. a box set containing ALL her music videos - a bootleg box set has been selling in one fan site

Nice set! Nothing really beats Madonna when it comes to performance and ideas. Only SHE can orchestrate such a thing. Not bad for 600 bucks.

Hmmm...interesting.Let me check again. Thanks for the info  c",)

The DVD is awesome... so is the audio CD.  I usually play the DVD on occasions that we have guests...

My only gripes are:
1.  the packaging (I prefer to get this in the normal DVD packaging)
2.  no subtitles (subtitles should be a must for concerts and music videos)
