Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Flags of our Fathers (Special Collector’s Edition) for 22nd May 2007. Clint Eastwood directs this film based on the bestselling book by James Bradley with Ron Powers, which chronicled the battle of Iwo Jima and the fates of the flag raisers and some of their brothers in Easy Company.

This is good news! But I'm hopeful a combo set of Flags and Iwo Jima SE's would also surface.

Well I'm just glad that I didn't get the first release yet... and yes, I'm also hoping for a combo release...

What the....?!?

Anyway, from the design of the box itself, it seems it's a box that will house 3 separate amaray cases...Hoping I'm wrong, but it would be better, at least for me, if this will be in digipak...
