May Viewsonic monitor kasi ako na 28 inches nabili ko sa Acenet. Maganda naman siya pero after a while naliliitan na rin ako hehehe.

Sir, I suggest getting at least a 40" LCD TV for gaming. I don't think 32" from the previous 28" isn't a big upgrade. Maka mabitin ka lang.

If for viewing movies, I suggest the 42" panasonic plasma.

At the World Trade Center last Saturday, I saw this Toshiba model being sold at P39,900 from its usual (?) P54,900, cash or card. Then at the Trinoma appliance sale the following day, the price tag is P54,900 but the sales rep is willing to give it P41,000 cash..It's 1 megapixel daw..

Wish I had the money then...

thats a toshiba 32a3000 model, s&s and theatreworks are selling that for about P34k.....that abci sale is no good, look someplace else.

e what if naging 60k na lang yung pv70 pero ang natitirang unit e iisa o dadalawa na lang, e di nag agawan pa kayo sa pagbili ng last units left and as far as i can see from the list 9 kayo gusto bumili ng 42pv70 so imbes na maging group buy baka maging group fight pa over the remaining units.... and like what i can see from jeff's strategy binababa nya yung price pag konti na lang ang stocks nya and pag naubos na stocks nya pasok naman new models at high prices again... well, just my opinion baka kasi wala kayo mapurchase in the long run.

group buy can always provide good economics because of strength in numbers ... even traders knew this ... if its 70k or effectively 64k, a group buy can even have this at 55k ... you should have a good strategy and the right people to talk to though!

Yes the new ones will be better & expensive

(meron na ako bro), the target market is to go back to its original state but in full HD 1920x1080p like the new Pioneer Kuro's, toshiba full Hd X series, Samsung M series and the panasonic PY series, these are all expensive units, kung kumagat ang market the prices will be stable at sympre babagsak na mga lumang stocks. Pag ubos na mga lumag stock the new one's will replace the old technology. As soon as the standard format for plasma and lcd is 1920x1080p. Then prices will go down but not this year, until the market has fully accepted these units and the demand is high more production will be made then the prices will go down. Laws of Supply and Demand.

Sir nasa pag-uusap nman yun between sellers at buyers.. right timing din. Why are we going to deal with that store knowing na isa o dalawa lang ang stock nya at hind make-cater ang group buyers

? we're not talking about 5k or 10k worth of investment here, we need to plan & be very carefull in terms of dealing with various suppliers/sellers. As you can see meron kaming target date & that only means dun lang magkakaroon ng pera yung mga tao at willing bumili, ito na ring list na'to ang pagbabasihan ng pag-uusap between both parties. Proper coordination is the key for the success of this group buy.

I agree. There's not much sense in paying more for something that you can get at a cheaper price. Considering the substantial investment involved, those who participate in group buys have already decided on a particular TV after doing the requisite preparatory research. As with everything else, one always has a choice between paying top dollar for the latest TVs (which are bound to get cheaper after their initial market launch) or getting the best price for your chosen TV model. Whether you go for the latest model TV or a TV model whose features perfectly match both your preferences and budget, a group buy would ensure the best possible deals by improving buyer leverage.
