connecting laptop to tv

hello!
i have been looking for an s-cable to connect my laptop to my tv, so i can use the laptop as a dvd player.  have looked everywhere but could not find such cable.  maybe somebody here can help?  the top pic is the s-cable connector on the laptop, and the bottom pic is the rca jacks on the tv.

I actually have one...converts Svideo to RCA, it came with my wireless ccd camera....

makikisakay na rin sa query ni @asr, will the the ordinary 4 pin s-video to s-video works in
connecting a laptop (7 pins) to a TV (with 4 pins s-video). if not is there an s-video cable with
7 pins and 4 pins on the other end?

why not use the VGA (monitor out) instead? kung kaya ng TV mo, like LCS TV's or Plasma TV's, VGA to component cable lang oks na.

The 4 PIN S-video MALE should work with the 7 PIN S-Video of your laptop. I have try this one before using a 4 PIN S-video (male on both end from ace hardware). but does not broadcast any audio on the TV. rather, audio should be heard through the speaker of your laptop.

as i remember 7 pin S-video is an i/o or input and out put..  i saw it also in Handyman. or try to ask computer stores if they have a cable..

connecting TV into PC/Laptop is easy but make it sure that the TV is compatible to the frequency of VGA.
it has a configuration in the properties of VGA.
