Topic: Onkyo606 w/ 4ohms speakers

gudam! sa mga guru's ng HT bago lang po me sa hobby na ito, tanong ko lang po meron kasi me na floor stander speaker with 4ohms impedance, puede po ba ikabit ito sa onkyo606? your advise is highly appreciated. thanks

I think there is a setting in the receiver where you can set it at 4 ohms.

thanks sir conan. once the receiver is set to 4 ohms, kailangan ba lahat ng speaker 4ohms din o puede gumamit ng 8 ohms ex.center, ano po consequence nito?

No problem to use speakers with higher ohm ratings. I think the 4 ohm setting is more for protection for the receiver.
