Based on the many cons and very few pros in this thread, I know now what to next with Heroes.

Stop watching.

Apparently, it's crap.

After Kristen Bell was written out of the show, I had no reason to watch the show. Or if she'll be back, then I'll be back too.

NBC Has Cancelled Heroes
by SuperHeroHype
May 14th, 2010

NBC has decided not to bring back "Heroes" next season.

The network was thinking about wrapping up the show next season with a possible two or four-hour movie, but decided against it due to the high cost and low ratings.

It's sad for a once a great and strong show now axed for having low ratings.

Heroes Returns to NBC in 2015 as Heroes Reborn!
Source: NBC
February 22, 2014

First rumored last April, NBC is planning to resurrect its superhero-themed series "Heroes" for a special 2015 miniseries event. Thirteen new episodes will be produced with original creator and executive producer Tim Kring at the helm, it was announced today by NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke.

“The enormous impact ‘Heroes’ had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke. “Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment. We’re thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept. Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.”

The original series chronicled the life-changing stories of a series of unrelated ordinary people who discovered they had superhuman abilities. As the saga unfolded, they learned they were part of a grand plan that brought them together to change the world.

With the return of “Heroes Reborn,” NBC will launch a digital series prior to the 2015 premiere that will introduce the characters and new storylines. This leveraging of social media is a way for fans to re-engage with what was one for the true pioneers in multiplatform storytelling.

Plot details for the new episodes are being kept under wraps, but the 13 episodes are set to follow a new stand-alone story arc.

The first season was definitely ground breaking.  I remember every ending ng episode bitin na bitin.  Most memorable sakin yun ending ng isang episode where Peter went inside the apartment of Mohinder.  Then Sylar was there.  He pinned Peter against the wall and started carving his forehead.....fade to black but Peter was screaming in the background.... Bitin! ;D

i loved this show! the first season was excellent but it went downhill from there. i think they suffered from changes in writers and thus lost their focus. i hope they don't screw up this time around.

yeah it was around that time when there was a Writer's strike in the US. That's when most TV shows went downhill. Too bad di na nakarecover from crappy writing yung Heroes.

‘Heroes’ Reboot In The Works From Series Creator Tim Kring

Tim Kring‘s Heroes is eyeing a second encore with Heroes: Eclipsed, a new incarnation of the popular 2006 superhero drama series, sources tell Deadline. Appropriately, the project is being pitched to buyers now, the week of the solar eclipse. (The original series started off with a solar eclipse in the pilot, which became a recurring element throughout the series, also reflected in its logo.)

Written by Kring, Heroes: Eclipsed is set years after the events of the original series as new evos are being awakened and discovering powers that will change their lives. Featuring familiar villains and new enemies who once again will be attempting to suppress this next step in human evolution, it will be up to this new group of heroes to save the world.

Heroes ran for four seasons after a red-hot start with a pop culture-defining “Save the cheerleader, save the world” first chapter that earned the show an Outstanding Drama Series Emmy nomination. Both the original series and limited series Heroes Reborn, which drew softer ratings, aired on NBC. According to sources, the new Heroes incarnation, which is envisioned as an ongoing series, has been pitched to NBC along with streamers.

Pagkakaalala ko pangit yung Heroes Reborn. They were hoping to restart the series back then but was canceled after only one season.  The first season is the only one that's really good, and it went downhill from there on.
