Does this still hold True for 4K UHD Today?

Movie Talk - are 4K movies worth it? according to him it is not worth getting 4K movies as Hollywood just shoots in 2K coz of all the CGI/ Rendering then the 2K "just" gets upscaled to 4K

that would depend on both the software and the hardware....

If the source is a true 4k hdr (such as a 4k hdr uhd bd) being played on a true 4k hdr capable display, then the andwer is yes.

i watched a few blu ray vs 4k blu ray comparisons and the difference is not that glaring unlike DVD vs blu ray. So medjo iffy pa ako to jump on the 4k blu ray and I'm keeping my blu rays muna even though I have a 4k OLED.

4k is much better, if the movie was filmed in 4k or the movie was a 4k remaster, otherwise, do not upgrade to 4k kung bluray lang siya na transferred to 4k

funny lang, di ko na enjoy yung witcher sa netflix.
mas na enjoy ko pang panoorin yung 2004 movie na iRobot.
mas maganda kulay kesa dun sa 4k na witcher... parang malata talaga yung kulay e...
