Leo Woodall and Ambika Mod are 'Dex and Em' in first One Day trailerNetflix has officially released the first trailer for its upcoming series One Day. The show, which is an adaptation of David Nicholls' 2009 best-selling novel of the same name, follows Dexter Mayhew (The White Lotus' Leo Woodall) and Emma Morley (This Is Going to Hurt's Ambika Mod) for 20 years of friendship (and will-they-won't-they drama).
Much like the book — and the 2011 film adaptation starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess — the show checks in with the characters one day each year, letting viewers live with them far beyond the first night they meet at college.
The 14-episode series hits Netflix on Thursday, Feb. 8.
