My brother bought a LG 42inch plasma about 3 years ago. I noticed there are random green blinking pixels (a lot) on the right and left side of the screen. You can really notice it when the the movie/game scene is black/dark. He told me it might have something to do with the cable for the PC/DVD he uses. What do you think is wrong with the plasma and does it need repair?

Looks like dead pixels.  I don't think that can still be repaired.

More like interferance from the cable/poor connection.

Diba plasma displays are use gases instead of pixels? (Not sure if I remember that correctly though)

I think 3 years is too early for a plasma to show wear and tear. So i am guessing that its either defective by production or has something to do with the cable or source!
