try cleaning the disc with car wax, it removes light scratches and protects your disc as well, mas okay yun carnauba wax but most car waxes will do.... for deeper scratches, use car rubbing compound, suggest ko muna practice with cd-r's para malaman mo what works at ano yung hinde, any mistakes mo at least sa cheap cd-r's mo lang ginawa, just follow the instructions the way gamitin sa car mo, before you apply the wax, clean the disc first with a damp piece of cotton, then dry off with a dry cotton ball
what I do is apply the wax with my fingers in small circular motions to remove the scratches then let it dry for a few minutes tapos remove the wax with a cotton ball, super linis and kintab ng disc after, hehehehe
