Help! Sony STR-DE845 Problem
« on: Dec 14, 2007 at 10:18 PM »
Hi guys!

I need help with my AVR. Every time I use the Dolby 5.1 or DTS mode, may "hissing" sound coming from one of the speakers (usually from the center or sub). It's really annoying when watching movies. Para mawala yung "hissing" sound, I need to hit or slap the rear part of the receiver. It disappears for a while pero bumabalik din. What could be the problem?  ??? And recently, kahit gamit ko analog input lang may hissing sound na rin coming from the left or right channel.

I already brought this to the Sony Service Center pero sabi nila na ok naman daw. They can't hook it up to a coaxial or optical when testing because they don't have a dvd player daw. Hassle talaga....

Any other shops you could recommend for repair?

Thanks in advance  :)
