Just want to clarify na itong Promac ay multimedia speakers. The type which you directly attach to a DVD player with internal decoder.

Sorry guys dont have picture for this stuff. As for the specs, i'll have to copy it pa sa box. Hope this answers your questions.

Para sa akin pwede na siya for it's price. Kasi I also saw and heard the Ganz Klar that was selling for 3+++ in Makro. Walang sinabi yung GK.

I bought it from W&M Marketing, Stall # 33 Raon Shopping Center, Quezon Blvd., Quiapo, Manila.
Bought it at Php 2,950.00 ONLY.

I would really say this unit would do for those who wants a HT but on a really tight budget.

Hi Kenji,

Does your promac have a headphone jack? Also, can these be used as PC speakers?

It's just a set of 5 speakers.. so you still will need to have atleast your own amplifiers to use your dvd's 5.1 analog out.

Kenji,
what amp do you use to power this Promac 5.1 of yours?  Wala ba talagang built in amp like the Ganz Klar?

I doubt it. They dont come with amplification built in.

I checked the website and it did state that it had a built-in amplifier.

you are right..

meron palang built in amplifier. then i guess all you need is an adapter for the headphone jack.

btw.. how can you use it with your dvd player? It doesn't do dts/ dd decoding. so only way is analog output... pero it doesnt seem to me na meron siyang 5/6 analog inputs..

No it does not have a headphone jack. Yes, it does have built in amplification.

It has 5.1 channel input ( yun ba ang tamang term dun sa may LF,RF, C, LS, RS inputs?). Anyway from what I understand and if i'm not wrong, the decoding is done by the dvds internal decoder and the promac just amplifies it. ( So di mo na kailangan ng seperate na amp)

I hope this answers all your question guys.

If you happen to be within Ortigas Area, I saw this in a store in Metrowalk, it retails for P2,500.  comes with remote

my rating:
Price: 9 out of 10
Sound Output: 7 out of 10
Design: 7 out of 10

IMHO, good for entry level HT with limited budget  :)

We were in metrowalk the other day, and we chanced upon an appliance store carrying PROMAC.  A friend is intending to buy the 5.1 speakers so we auditioned it.  They used the TAEKGUKI DVD and it sounded good. Clear sounds from the satellites (you can hear the bullet pass by from the rear to front)
and a good ample bass, ideal for a 10-40 sqm room.  less than 2.5K, sulit for the price

Thanks for the response!

I've also tried 2 abenson's in the south, Alabang and Festival, but they didn't have it. I'll try other branches as well though. I'm just trying to verify if the unit isn't phased out or anything :)
