kung generic amps make sure that the power ratings/channel are higher than the speakers power handling rate... 

can you give detail specs of your speakers... if it's 650 W/c @8ohms so it's possible it dips down to 6-4 ohms which some amps may not rated to handle lower impedance. so, check the min. impedance&power it requires then look for an amp that matches to it..

yes sir audiojunkie, available sa atin to same as the sticker price of behringer website. but you can get it at  35% less sa mga online retailer sa US kaso 110v lang mga units nila.

okay sana sir GneW kung multi-voltage ang unit, minsan kasi 'di maiwasan ang aksidente to plug into 220V...

sir saymaname... as/specs it's possible it dips down about half the stated impedance. @12" woofer it should give much lower bass response but specs says 45Hz only kun 'di ako nagkakamali matigas ang BASS when pump-up the volume. sa high freq. naman limited rin dahil sa 3" dia ng  tweeter. Pero @99db ay mataas compared to other brands that real world it can be driven by any generic low-powered amps.
also, have to consider amps DAMPING factor rating, the higher the better.
Calling other Tech_GURUS to give more technical views and I stand corrected for my analysis and opinions...

Can you post a picture of your speakers?  Just curious.  Its specs read like it's an old one.  I was surprised to read 3" tweeter. It must be a paper-based tweeter. I don't think they still make these.

What's the power rating of current generic power amp?  Is it for home use?

By amplifier, you probably mean integrated amps.  If you visit Raon or Evangelista, or even the Pier Shopping mall fronting the Manla Cathedral, I'm certain you can find a generic amp.

If the specs given above are accurate, then these are very efficient speakers. Just looking at its 99db sensitivity given a 1watt at 1 meter away proves that even a SET amp with 3-5 watts will make this speaker sing.
This is a 3-way design so its a full range speaker, thus its 650 wattage is not as important as its sensitivity.

Again, if the 99db sensitivity is accurate, you may try virtually any amp sold in the market today - from multi channel AVRs (if for HT) or even flea powered 2ch amps (for audio) should be more than enough.
Try to borrow any kind of amp & connect it to your speakers at home just to check its sonics if you like 'em - if not, shop for other speakers nalang.

for this purpose you really need a PRO-amps to drive them. ..     

A good quality EQ also to tailor the sound you like...

+1. or for flexibility you may consider a mixer with eq. just bear in mind that in setting an equalizer, it is better to cut peaks rather than boost dips in the frequency response.

mukhang malaking budget ang kelangan mo dito. the behringer ep2500/4000 can deliver 1200 watts at 2 ohms but definitely less than a 1000 watts at 8 ohms (your speaker's sensitivity). but if you are talking about 1000 watts PMPO, madami nyan sa raon

gano kalaki ang house mo?.....nung nag-aaral pa ako...gamit namin tube amp mga 20 watts at 2 x 3way na baffles...overnight ang party namin...siguro nasa 30 katao kami noon......masaya naman....

hindi porke't meron kang 2 x 650 watts na speaker ay ganoon din ang wattage ng amp mo....kakayaning sirain ng 100watter na amp yan.....

since you are still starting...i would suggest a sakura 502, @3500, solved ka na kung sa bahay mo lang gagamitin...
