Still, the Evo 1 is a keeper despite its flaws, just like the LSi9s.

Di naman bago yung AE Evo 1 it was more like 4 years old pero di gamit (im still in the process of breaking it in since it sounded really unused as compared to the Evo 1 I sold 2 years ago), na miss ko lang yung AE Evo 1 and its idiosyncrasies LOL.

I wasn't actually looking for one when Bam! I bumped into someone in avshop last week that thought of selling his AE Evo 1 since it wasnt meshing well with his HT gear (pang audio lang daw maganda and sucked with HT performance), kaya ayun one thing lead to another and here it is now.

I was supposed to be in avshop just to make advanced payment for my orders and this situation presented itself kaya tinuluyan ko na hehehehe.

Patience do have its rewards =)

Luther, yes. Sweeter ang Evo1 with the Rotel, though its still perfect match with the Harman.

Edgar, yep itim na Rotel RB-1582 na lang ang iniintay ko and ok na yung 2.1 channel setup.

nice meeting you sir mike sa avshop. im still confused if i get the 04 or the 06. solve na ko sa power ng 04 but when i got home i listen to my system napansin ko lagi ko hawak remote control and malikot ako sa volume. anyways, congrats sa new set up and upgrade!

Well if I were you, why dont you save up for the 06SE - It has a remote (can also control Rotel CD / Tuner) and can accomodate beefier speakers which the 04SE may not be able to play nicely even in a small room.

a bit of cleaning+pledge, also moved the speakers closer together for a tighter sweet spot since I usually listen at night/dawn with very low volume

For the me, the LSi 9 has more than enough bass for music. The subwoofer is for movies, right?

Sub is used during parties / get togethers, or for loud listening levels. off for soft music/critical listening

My setup is mainly for music.
