Earlier this year, a friend of mine in Singapore bought a Marantz 6002 cdp and shipped it to me through LBC. It was also Macdon who patiently gave me detailed instructions on how to do this through a series of PMs (thanks so much, Macdon!).
All you have to do is to specify to your friend what brand/model and color to buy, and to canvas for the best price from the authorized dealers in Adelphi mall. Kung sa authorized dealer bibilhin, very slight naman siguro ang chance na maloloko siya.
After buying the unit, your friend can simply bring it to LBC, which has a branch in Lucky Plaza, and ship it to you, by means of air or surface shipping. I chose surface, because it was cheaper and I was not in a hurry, anyway. Total cost to me (cost of the unit + LBC shipping) was the equivalent of P15,869.35.
Siyempre, ang downside nito, pag nasira, you will have to claim the warranty from the dealer in Singapore! Despite that, I decided to do this because I did not like the cdps I could have bought here at the time, which were the Azur 640C and the Marantz 5003. Saka confident naman ako sa quality ng Marantz, lalo na pag brand new.
