Possible. For one, LG has already marked down its models (LE7500, LE5500, LD460, etc.; check out sir Vic's Marketplace thread) from the 4th quarter of 2010, presumably in anticipation of its upcoming, new batch of LEDs/LCDs/plasmas.
Going 3D, at last! (And I don't care it it's a fad.)

There already are, even from the current models. Like Toshiba's, although wala lang nga 'yung slim factor n'ya, as the housing is as thick as a conventional LCD's. Or the LG LE5500. 'Yung model ko (LE7500) ang super reflective, so much so that I can see the pained expression on my face in real-time whenever my character dies on Dead Space 2 :D :D :D

i doubt the branded 40" will reach sub 30k, at least in the near future. unless of course, you're willing to get an "old" model.

in general, prices of new model LCD TVs might actually go up. if you'll notice the trend, more and more features are being packed into flat panels TVs. :)

Actually, what I'd noticed on the two previous generations of, in particular, Samsung LCDs was this: the current models will be marked down progressively over the months leading to the launch of the next generation, and then when the new batch finally comes in, the entry- to mid-level models would be priced *AT PAR WITH*, if not lower than, the marked down prices of the previous models.

Which is why, tempting as the reduced price on the 32LE5500 is at the moment, I'm trying to restrain myself from taking the plunge. Heaven help me, though :D

that's what i have noticed as well. kaya i think it's not far fetched that 40 inchers will be sub 30k by year end...

Coby has a 46" LED TV at 29,990 Php. Hay, Sobra mura na mga HDTV ngayon. I remember my first HDTV. It cost us nearly 100K Php back in 2006 and it was only 32", pero Samsung naman.
