As for firmware update, I think we can do it thru the player via internet connection.
I'm sure the firmware can be updated. My worry is that there won't be any firmware update that will be provided by CD-R King.
Is there any BD title with DRM or complex Java authoring that you can suggest so I can give it a test spin?

DRM ---
I only know about 3 titles:
In 2007, Samsung and LG had problems with the DRM on "Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer" and "The Day After Tomorrow". Firmware updates fixed the issue.
The last DRM-related problem I heard of was on "Avatar" in 2010:

If the playback won't auto-resume after it's stopped, then the disc is Java-encoded. If the player takes an unusually long time to load a Java-enabled disc, then the Java authoring on that disc is unusually complex.
Disney titles would be good examples.
On foreign forums, many of them say "Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Skynet Edition)" is a very slow-loading title.
Maybe you've noticed other titles that take longer than usual to load?
The Java on "The Sound of Music" is really good. It's the only title I know that automatically auto-resumes where you left off. No need to set a bookmark --- that's too low-tech
. Just stop playback, turn the unit off, unplug the unit if you want, then the next time you play the title, it cues the scene where you left off.
Will the CD-R King player handle Sound of Music correctly?
