mukhang ok naman, i am now able to load a large torrent file (39GB for testing).

as recommended from a german forum, for custom firmwares, flash using the reset button method.

nag bago pala ang lay-out ng menu sa official 2.5.6.0 version naging 2-level, 2nd level ang file explorer at di ko nagustohan, so nag custom firmware na lang ako.

unstable pa ra akin ang transmission, naghahang, at nawawala ang files pag nag restart.
BT lang gamit ko.

bro, format the disk under egreat setup transmissions, dunno if it works with your current firmware though.

haven't done a flash before. anyone care to provide a step-by-step how-to for a dummy like me? or a link would be just as nice. btw my unit is r6a-ii

REALTEK based HD player FW upgrade Instructions:
a. Format a USB with FAT32 Filesystem
b. right click to download file, and save to your PC.
c. extract file install.img to PC
d. copy the install.img to the USB main folder "/"
e.on your HD Media Player, plug USB to the unit and power up.
f. go to System tab, go to firmware upgrade option.

hi sir jim, may laman na kasi ang hdd ko, he he. formatted it using the old firmware and been downloading using BT torrent, it's more stable. kaso is seems may limit ang files size sa old firmware, that's is why nag try ako ng bagong firmware.

mukhang ok naman ang custom firmware na gamit ko ngayon, i'm able to download bigger torrent files (on R300, na nabinili ko sa'yo 8-) ) baka later maka post ako ng screen shot. nasa first level ang file manager.

di ko na natesting ang ibang features, ok na sa akin na puede na sya mag download ng torrents na malalaking sized (yung 3D iso bluray image ng avatar is 46GB)

nag error na naman yung malalaking torrents, pero ibang error message di kagaya ng dating firmware.
nawala yung 39GB download ko, he he. still testing

no info yet from egreat, since I snatched this pictures from a friend at their development floor so the prototype might still change.

I requested for one unit to test so we can get a good feel of the 3D.iso and lossless iso playback. I am worried if the Cinevia is implemented kasi, making it pointless to switch to the better Sigma PQ, but the Realtek 1186, at least in Egreat, is surprisingly better side by side (Egreat with another brand).
