After 4 months of hunting & seeking NOS or re-issue Mullards for Sir Andrew's Ref Pre-Amp, finally completed the line-up

from left to right: 6BM8, 5Y3, 2x 12AX7, 2x 12AT7

I went to Andrew Sevilla's shop kanina. Someone backed out from his order. So there is an amp there waiting for someone to bring it home. Anyone interested?

The VT-60 is a sweet-sounding amp with its EL34 tubes. Its strength is vocal clarity and the midrange is more defined. There is a need to up the bass a bit to balance out the whole spectrum, so I'm not running this flat. Overall very satisfied with this amp.

Specs: 30 wpc into 8 ohms
FR 30hz to 20kHz
Push-pull Class A/B

extremely happy with my set-up; AMX tube pre, and a 70s era Pioneer power amp. i listen to mainly classic rock and metal from FLAC files and vinyl. the preamp is a custom build, 5 inputs, subwoofer out, tone controls and 2 pairs of outputs. one pair for the power amp and the second pair for my headphone amp.

the tube/ss combination gives me sound signature that has both warmth and power.

Kind of have this setup now as I need to power a pair of tweeters to supplement my full range. Full range being driven by Solis state as power amp with tube as pre. I'm enjoying the combo and I might maintain this setup for a while.
