 kanya kanyang taste lang yan mga sirs . for me magandang pair yung b&w with rotel for music or ht even denon receivers ok rin for b&w . so the source and amplification matters most . compare both ma's and b&w using your components this way you'll know which to prefer.

I like the sound of this one..  here in pdvd it's like a plague you see so much stuff and you want it all! Haha! I love this makes you want to drool.. I agree MA always looks better than the BW's. Sound wise for me i think the 685 is better compared to Rx1. Though the rx1 sounded more coherent, the 685 sounded good but i noticed somthing the tweeter does not blend in with the woofer have anyone noticed the same?

imho, the 685 sounded good but i find the bass overpowering the tweeter or it is just me who prefer bright sounding music. i auditioned it with rotel ra-06 se and pioneer cdp.

B&W sounds better for me, both for HT and stereo.  In fact they are awesome for HT.  But MA has better price point.

It's a tough question to answer as both brands are good. It depends on the listener's preferences, the brand of amplifier-receiver and sources.
