for me, there's nothing wrong with what Kevin Love said.. the only reason he hasn't played enough "meaningful" games is because he's playing for the Wolves.. since losing Garnett, the Wolves have done nothing to get back into contention..
Love has worked hard to make himself the Wolves' franchise player and they didn't even give him a max contract.. the guy plays his heart out every game.. since his rookie year, he has vastly improved his post moves.. he extended his range and he battles for rebounds like a man possessed.. he became an All-Star all on his own and has made 2 US national teams already.. but because the Wolves front office hasn't worked hard enough, he has yet to play a playoff game..
Rose, Beasley, Mayo and Westbrook were his batch mates picked ahead of him.. they've all played in the playoffs.. Gallinari, Hibbert, McGee, George Hill, Ibaka, Chalmers are some of his batch mates picked after him who've already played in the playoffs.. Love is better than most of those guys.. he deserves to be in a playoff contender.. he let his game speak for him but the Wolves didn't notice.. maybe spelling it out might..
