So here I go, starting to build my home rig for music listening enjoyment. I hope I would be able to upgrade my rig just like those other systems posted in our forum. I don't have any plans for a home theater set-up as of now. I'm using my PC as my main source but also have a diy iPod dock in case I don't want to open the PC when listening. I'm very open to suggestions and advice.

The list only shows what I use in the room. Portable gears not included and those that are already up for sale.

Have acquired a Baby G last Dec 2012 but only able to post the pics now.






December 2013
After a year, I have updated my listening rig. I moved my A-Audio Charisma to the living room to serve as an entry level HT set-up. It's just a 2.0 set-up wherein just an LED tv, Onkyo receiver, Med8er NMT, PS3 and the Charisma FS Speakers.

But for my listening rig, I changed my source to iBasso DX50 with my laptop as an alternate. Speakers are A-Audio HB-12 and powered by dared MP5. Speaker cables and ICs are the infamous Cal's cables. From the source down to the cables have been a really good match. They have complemented each other. Hopefully  I could upgrade my amp by next year.



My bedroom stereo set-up



iBasso DX50as source, connected to my 3TB external HDD via OTG so I could access my whole music library when listening at home.

dared MP5. I use the DAC function via USB when using my laptop and RCA when using my DX50.

@stevesonk: panalo mga speakers ni sir anthony. Habang patagal ng patagal ko pinapakinggan ang HB-12, mas lalong di na ko masyado na iimpress sa Westone UM3X and Denon D5000 ko. Iba talaga pag speakers, can't wait to get home everyday.

@meat_eater: oo bro, MP5 ang kineep ko. As much as I want the Baby G, I always apply my minimalist policy. Just 1 amp per set-up. It just so happened na mas match sa HB-12 si MP5. That's why the Baby G have to go.

@mbc0528: oo bro. I just found out accidentaly. Yung 1TB external HDD ko dapst at isasalpak ko sa DX50 kasi sabi sa iBasso is up to 2TB ang supported kaso yung 3TB ang nasasak ko by accident. Well, gumana sya so sobrang tuwa ko at ganito ang kinalabasan. As long na powered yung HDD, kaya basahin ni DX50.
