My 1TB USB 3.0 NTFS partition Seagate Expansion exernal HDD was able to read by my  Samsung 51F5000

I also tested my 1TB USB 3.0 Seagate BackUp Plus Ext HDD and it was read  in the Samsung 51F5000 but not the 500 GB USB 2.0 Samsung  F2 portable ext HDD. Why???  Does  anyone have a similar experience?
Nevertheless, we are all enjoying watching movies in this new 51 in plasma. Watching in a 51 in. coming from  a 42 in. plasma is truly an amazing experience kaya takbo... bili na...sobrang affordable talaga at 30T.

I think yes.

There at so many advantages of the new 51F5000 than your panasonic

Size
USB
FullHD
PIP feature
Better sound (way way better compared to my 42X30)
So many picture settings to recreate your viewing preference
Better anti-burn in feature
2 HDMI inputs
Better frame
better stand

To name a few

yup, just bought one this afternoon ... it's replacing my 5 years old Panasonic PV8 ... was planning to buy it next week, since wala pa ko paglalagyan this weekend, kaya lang according to the salesman at Abenson Glorietta, their sale is up to today only - not sure if how true this is, but judging from the large interest of PDVD members , baka magka-ubusan na kaya i got it today

Abenson Glorietta by the way allows non-Metrobank cards and cash payment for 30k+, unlike Avant Greenbelt where they only give the promo price when using Metrobank card

It replaced my Panasonic 42X30 and Im happy, though I admit I miss the color rendition of my Panasonic lalo na sa Theater mode. But I sure matinker ko lang itong setting matitimpla ko na same with the color of Panasonic. Actually konti na lang.... Yung Panasonic kasi, napakakonting adjustments lang ng ginawa ko para mailabas desired color, contrast and brightness rendition ko.

not only sa price sir, i've been observing this tv for the past 4 weekends on different Abensons branch, and picture quality really looks better than my Panasonic 42PV8, and this one is already Full HD and 51-inch screen ... i was previously considering the higher model PS515500, but i'm not really into 3D and as for the smart features, i'm planning to buy an XBox One when it is released - this model at this price plus an XBox One would likely be the same amount as the PS515500, and i'm sure that the XBox One have smarter features and better processor

Pics quality I cannot compare yet.

But the price as per Sir Vic: PS51F5500 P57,200. FREE Skype camera, wireless keyboard, 2 eyeglass. Also free thru redemption UA23F4003 LED TV or HTF4500 home theater system. You can redeem the HTF4500 and we buy it back at P7K.

I wish I could say the same para hindi na ako nag upgrade at nag stay na lang sa 42", less gastos pa.
Pero I really dont think na masyado malaki yung 51". 55 is not too big still. 60" talaga ang masasabi mong malaki.

good am mga sirs,

ask ko lang, kailangan pa ba nito ng break-in period (100hrs - 200hrs)? this is my first time owning a plasma coming from a LCD tv. :)

hmmnn I think kahit hindi na required to break-in..maybe you can break it in by using it normally and avoiding static images like channel logos or black bars for movies..just zoom it up or move up or down..though me anti burn in feature naman ito..

no need... even my 5-year old Panasonic tv did not require break-in ... that's a thing of the past
