To post pic:

1. Create account in photobucket.com.
2. Create an album there if you wish to be organized.
3. Click Upload button somewhere on top of page.
4. Choose the Album name in the dropdown toggle of uploader.
5. Drag and drop the photos.
6. Best to upload 700px max width or height on the longest side. (A courtesy to mobile surfers)
7. Go to album and click on a photo you wish to post.
8. Upper right of photo thumbnail is a gear icon. Click that.
9. Choose share.
10. Choose forum link. Tap the suggested url and it should say "copied".
11. Right click that on your thread post.
Thanks Gino, I've got the hang of posting piccies all I've got to do is sort the size out now.

Wow! Nice seats, i can sleep all day there ;D ;D ;D

To change the size of pix, just modify your post and change
[img width=x height=y]

You could adjust x & y but maintain aspect ratio..use basic arithmetic.
For example, if x=900 & y=700 and you want to reduce the size
Lets say x=600, to get the y, simply divide 600÷900=0.6666 then multiply by 700=467 (new value for y)

Hi jh@meeh, you can commandeer the rear row, the wife has already claimed the front row.
Thanks for the size changing instructions, I'll give it a go.

Your pic size are just right. iPhone friendly. That is a very nice location you have. Lots of trees around and fields. This will be a very interesting build. Nice.

those are really nice-looking HT seats! :D

btw, I noticed that the room's walls are white and there are many windows. I think some light control (heavy curtains or blinds?) and acoustic treatment are in order. ;)

Thanks Gino, I got something right at last. Yes location is good, towards the top of a hill & overlooking the sea. Was concerned a little on the possibility of landslip after the recent quake but I've been assured that the strata of rock just under the surface should negate any problems. As they say it's full steam ahead.

Hi DTNS, thanks for the like, not to worry about room in the pics it's the living area of the unit we're renting while our house is being built & the HT room will have no windows, only a door to the outside world. Thanks for the thought

Hi Ricky, yes the seats will be well broken in by the time the wife has finished with them  ;D ;D ;D.
My supplier would not hold them in stock, they were also the last 2 sets & they couldn't tell me if they would be restocking. I had no option but to buy & put them in storage. That was until we moved to be closer to the house build & then wife got her way as she can curl up in them & go to sleep. At least they have WAF  ;D ;D ;D

A bit too late but an HT room pre-nup should have been drafted.

Piccies of HT seats

I think I saw this HT seat at Mandaue Furnitures.  I would have bought this but it was just too wide for my HT.  No more space at the sides.  And I prefer the darker brown or black color.

Those seats really look cozy but I'm sure it would really take a lot of space. I would think that you would have a big HT on the way--needing another sub? By the way, does the center seat recline as well?

Well spotted sir, yes they're from Mandaue foam. They're imported but for some strange reason can't tell you what will be reordered & in what colour. I would have preferred a darker colour but with all the uncertainty took these, they were by far the best I had been looking at. I'll have to be a little careful the HT rooms colours. BTW they have restocked in black leather even wider, center is a 2 seater making the set around 3.5 M wide. The final internal dimension of my HT room will be a little over 5 meters leaving me just over 1 M clearance each side.

Hi Doc, they do take up a lot of space especially when you're having 2 rows. No only the outside seats recline so the sweet spot is a foot stool job. The final internal dimensions of my HT room will be 7.12 M x 5.12 M so I should be OK. I've been going over my room design today & redone the stage & I think it will look quite cozy. Another sub - steady, seriously I have already spoken to BK & they will ship so I have left my options open.

I seldom see a 3 seat recliner that can recline even the middle one.  But I wouldn't mind even if the sweet spot is unreclined with those seats.

The final internal dimensions of my HT room will be 7.12 M x 5.12 M so I should be OK.

35++ sq. Meters. That's quite a huge HT!

The option is closed to a dual sub set-up then.

Hi Doc, I think you have to get singles for a center recliner but like you I'll settle for as it is coz I'll be in the sweet spot & I have a nice big comfy foot stool.
My listening area back in the UK was around 23 sq M so I've increased 50%, it's going to be interesting.
I've always been of the opinion that a single sub set up properly would be sufficient the exception being for those who can detect where the LFE is coming from. Once I've set up the existing gear I'll have good think about the benefits of a second sub.
Due to the size of the room the Stereo will be in I may need a sub for that system - we'll see.

Hi Ricky, I take it Berkline are from the USA ? They seem to be way in front when it comes to HT builds. You never know my seats may fall apart considering the usage they're going to get. It's nice to know of an alternative supplier. BTW where are you situated & what sort of costs for similar to what I have now. I'm still pretty active  >:D >:D >:D so for now it would be the manual seats. Can you send me piccies ?

Hi Ricky, just looked at the HT plans & I think I could fit another row in. It means front row viewing from around 8 feet which brings us into THX territory  ;D ;D ;D. I have a little time to ponder & reflect the size of the wife's family locally. I don't have to worry about mine they'll only be over here rarely. Mind you should I decide a another row the house design would have to change slightly. At the moment the HT floor is below the upper ground fl. by the height of the seat plinth so a 3 rd row would mean lowering the floor another 1 foot. The entry door will open onto the seat plinth. Mmmmmmmmmm pondering.

Hi Nelson, point taken  :) Originally the HT room was to be 1 M longer to give the option of the 3 rd row, so the thought was sitting in the back of my mind. as we all know ideas change rather quickly in our pastime but whether or not they can be implemented is another matter.

Since you are in the province and you are considering the size of your wife's family into consideration then a 3rd row is still not sufficient. I am sure " the more the merrier " " lipay man gyud kaayo kung daghan pud ang mutan-aw sa imong sine sa balay"(let your wife read this and translate)hehe

Seriously, you can do away with 1 row recliner and the next row as a bar counter with bar stools for that happy happy karaoke nights.
