May certain app sa shieldtv ko na ayaw mag work like GSEIPTV. Na download ko siya then pag open ko tapos pag punta ko sa xtream codes nag crash yung app. Any members na naka experience nito?

there are apps talaga made for nvidia shield. 64bit kasi sya unlike sa mi box which is 32 bit lang.
so maybe the  gse iptv is for 32 bit lang. most app made for 32bit is working naman sa shield. baka exception iyang gse smart iptv.

Finally, I can play 4k content thru my Nvidia TV Shield pro and beam it on my Epson TW6000.  The firmware upgrade included the HDR to SDR tone mapping already! No odd colors anymore!!

Tried sir the unlock version pero same pa rin nag crash din siya and yung tivimate unlock is na install pero hindi ko naman ma open. Gamit ko ngayon is purple iptv which ok naman but better yung GSe iptv or tivimate para may subtitle.

Since August that I learned about SE Upgrade 8.2 was the same time I learned that my NShield 2017 no longer able to connect to the internet.  I could still connect thru my home network via my router but it has no internet connection.  What's funny is that  I could still watch Netflix over my NShield 2017 but that's about it.  no more SE upgrades, no more Youtube.  And I could no longer able to install/re-install apps.  Despite I try too many times to restart the unit, restart its WiFi module, forget & set-up a new WiFi connection, it could connect with my home network EXCEPT the internet.     I'm using the Shield mainly for offline movies anyway for 4K HDR Atmos/DTS:X; and its processing and video/audio performance either with Kodi/SPMC is still rather the same as it was early in the day.

what's lucky though, I have finally found its remote -- which became missing since the 3rd month I had the Shield...  pending I buy and replace its batteries, I may use it again and pair it with its mother unit.

^ my issue with "no Internet" is solved.  it's about Date & Time setting only -- set to Use Internet Time".  not sure how my set up is changed to "Off"

I have 2 Sony Android TVs -- I don't see much differences with the one installed on the Shield.  I think it is a configured Android TV OS as well

- the Shield Android TV OS has an option to turn off/sleep.  which the TV has a power button and Shield has none
- Shield also has a wider resolution whitelist options on Kodi/SPMC which indicates the full 3840 x 2160 when using a 4K display. while the TV is indeed 4K, installing/using the Kodi/SPMC on the TV, it only shows 1080p

if for movie streaming only, why not just get a Smart Sony Android 4K TV?  you may install apps on that TV the same as what you could install on this NVidia Shield unit...
