The overlooking infinity pool! Any ideas where's the place located? Obviously I'm not from Manila. Very nice location they got.

Looks like it's somewhere in Antipolo.

It is a fact of life that nothing is certain. We are saying what if?

That is a classic case of a hamster inside a turn wheel or in a rat race. If you stop or for some unknown reason something stopped you what you are doing now you to earn  you will be in a financial crisis.

Before you be able to retire 100% in the future you have to contend with the present.

Alot of people dream of a retirement lifestyle without doing anything now. Or what they are doing now is disconnected with their future retirement plan.

They are thinking it "will just fix itself" or they will win a lotto in the future.

Like for example now. If you have a house and in debt. And you want to retire in the future at a certain date. Everything you do now will either make it happen or not.   How big of a house or debt interest you will pay will affect your future retirement plan.

But alot of people are too oblivious to face that fact and still hope that they will retire without putting in the effort needed.

simple... just put it to your mind, mas may alam sila sa pinag gagawa nila kesa sayo... no need to explain blah blah blah.

May kanya kanya tayong "ideals". Pangarap. Goals. Passion.

Naalala ko sabi ng prof ko dati, "what is beautiful to you may not be beautiful to others".

Meron tayong mga "sana", "dapat", etc. Meron tayong mga wants and needs.

You don't need millions to be happy and contented.

Unique. Different folks with different?

You are bashing the Kramers without knowing their real financial capability.

Doug has been playing pro basketball for many years, earning Millions annually.  He was an Atenean, so hindi siya Poor and may brains din. His wife comes from a middle class background.

In addition to their healthy income, the couple may have some access to family assets you do not know of.  Yet you judge and put them down.

When my dad bought our property in the Metro, he had to sell a provincial lot and my Lolo's longtime San Miguel shares.  The Kramers could have done the same.

Let us just enjoy the success of others, as we aspire to achieve ours.

To keep it on topic pintasan na lang ninyo yung HT niya like what other people did. :)

Rather than getting consumer-grade equipment I'd get the same commercial-grade hardware that malls like Evia uses in their smallest laser projected theaters.

Or better yet a Samsung microLED theater display https://youtu.be/ZcaCANnihMw

And ditch blu-ray Kramer...

Go Red Carpet

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/07/business/media/movie-rentals-red-carpet-home-cinema.html

The Kramers are known to rent out the smallest Evia theater for private viewings for family and friends.

To you it is bashing. To me I am calling a spade a spade.  Its their money and their life.  I really do not care what they do.  I bet they have millions or so. But you have to think that they are still active in show biz, making a decent living, working. They might be doing this for fun.

But you might also think that they have to do it because its their bread or butter.

If you want to live in a fairy tale dream  and someone told you the basic facts of life that shattered it.  You might call him a negative person. etc etc.

As I said. I was just explaining to someone that she/he should not be envious about big houses or flashy cars.  But you reacted like I am attacking you personally by hitting a nerve when you are reading that explanation.

If i hit a nerve accidentally . Maybe it is a good thing and something for you to think about.

Why should I get affected by this.

Like you, I call a spade a spade.

You say that the Kramers made a mistake building a big house.  I say if they are financially capable of doing it, it is not a problem.  Yun lang yun.

Many years down the road, that property would be worth many times what it is now.  And the Kramers will tell you that is the best investment they ever made.  And the pride and happiness it brings would be immeasurable.

Nice question, I remember envying kuya Germs' setup whenever he flashes, even for a glimpse. the grandeur of his theater during the time of Mastershowman. Anyway this is another topic which may spur differences in opinion.

Damn, people without any moral, cultural relevance to society angsarap ng buhay. The guy's got everything, a half-breed wife, beautiful children, and a mansion with a full-pledge home cinema. I'm aspiring all these years to have a Ford E-150 and cannot obtain even a second-hand unit, but this guy got a brand-new Toyota that looks like a Hummer. They're taken to do the commercials left and right, damn they're living it up. Living it up, living out all those fantasies....

Are you sure they don’t have social relevance? And if they don’t have, they don’t have the right to have a good life?
