My samsung bought in May 2017 conked out last night. Initially the set turns off while we were watching. Turning it on again, the set operates for a few seconds then turns itself off. Later upon turning it on again a white screen appears, intermittently with a blank screen.

Anybody had the same problem? Ano kaya sira? Cost to repair?

Had the same problem with my samsung eh5000. Panel raw sabi sakin so hindi ko na lang pinagawa, bumili na lang ako ng bago but tv is still with me hoping na hindi nga panel and magawa pa.

In my lack of expertise and without consulting google, but with a general understanding of how sh#t works, this is probably just a power issue specifically a capacitor fault? A power board failure or something. Just throwing it out there.

OMG! Panel nga!! What a waste and not even 3 yrs old! About 30K daw!

Guess investing in higher cost models is no guarrantee of quality!

ive had 2 of those defects with my tvs before. Yung isa sabi tcon board while yung isa di ko na pinagawa. I doubt kung panel talaga sira nyan eh.

I agree with Dan and tingin ko its a voltage supply problem. Pero tamad lang mga technician to diagnose kasi very time consuming yun.

Panel cost P32k. Whew! Buti na lang may mga kahati sa gastos! PQ is awesome! Hope the panel lasts longer!

saan location mo?
yong dati kong samsung after 5yrs bumigay din pero yong kumpare ay technician at mga limang capacitor lang pinalitan at gana na ulit until now. kaya yong 65inch ko ay samsung parin ang binili ko.

My KS7000 conked out yesterday. Di ata kinaya ang tension sa the Witcher. LOL

turning 5 years this march. average 10 hours a day watching siguro eversince the pandemic.

The tv just died down, and upon turnin on again, blank screen na and power is cycling to on/off. Still hoping hind panel.

Tingin nyo mga experts dyan? hehehe

The tech drop by today. Initial analysis is main board and will cost 10k including labor.

After the main board is replaced then the panel can be further checked. , initial analysis is far panel is still okay.

nasa 30k na lang ang brand new 55" 4k tv (lg or samsung ulit)

I think nasa around 50k++ pa rin ang equivalent nya Series 7 ngayon.

imho not worth it, since wala ng warranty, pwedeng after 3months masira ulit and sayang yung 35k.

you can get a brand new 65 inch tcl with 2 yrs warranty for 37k has Dolby vision and atmos support 65P272 model i think

no.. better to buy new na lang.. or if you can find same model na pwede kunin yung panel as replacement..

mga TVs now are like bulbs... same model ng led bulbs some matagal buhay and some deads agad..

may samsung led tv pa kami yung 37inch model.. mga 2010 model yata ito.. up to now buhay pa.. medyo nag degrade na lang yung plastic film nya.. polarizer yata yun.. tsaka yung speaker sound medyo basag na.. nasa sala kasi yun, kaya daily use..

kami na sumuko at pinag pahinga na sya.. hehe

Agree on the light bulb comparison.

I found this fix on youtube where you put sticky tapes on the flat cable connectors to check which side of the panel is broken and might work if there are only few connectors to the LCD which are broken.

Turns out that is also what tech did today to remedy the issue. He was able to turn on the panel using this method but there are horizontal lines on both side of the screen (left and right).

The panel is not fixable anymore.

kakalungkot ang mga tv ngayon.

Gone are the days nang durability nang CRTs.

Ni try pa nang tech i check yung mga capacitors sa board nang panel. pero yung screen na talga ang may problem.

Well, I guess this is the tradeoff for getting large screens and smartys
