Sila interesado to join the Lakeshow. Question is if the Lakers are interested in them.

FA si Lowry pero wala naman cap space ang Lakers to get him unless sign and trade mangyayari. Likewise Dinwiddie.

Of the three players mentioned I think the DeRozan deal is the one that is doable.  Harrel, Kuzma and Schroder in exchange for LA native DeRozan

That's why i said the nba now has become a foolish league. Kawawa talaga ibang teams and owners. They don't want to play for you, hands will be tied. No longer fun to be a fan of other teams.

It doesn't matter if the lakers have the capability to sign these players. The fact that these players mention the team they are interested, advantage agad ang lakers. Exactly what happened on the harden to nets trade. Other teams won't trade for him because maging one year rental lang. Then he comes in out of shape, na alam mo intentional. Houston have no choice but to deal with them because nobody else will give that much in return for harden if they know he will not stay with them.

Might as well play nba 2k sa ps4 or 5..set your team settings to 100, powerhouse so you can go 82-0 and destroy these superteams hehe

If you are a casual fan, or big market team fan, what is happening now in the nba will not bother or hurt you. If you are a die hard okc, memphis or small market team, you are out of luck.

That is why it is uber refreshing to see Milwaukee win the title which is a small market team.  With drafted players leading the charge.

The Memphis Grizzlies are finalizing a trade to send Jonas Valanciunas and 2021 Nos. 17 and 51 picks to the New Orleans Pelicans for Steven Adams, Eric Bledsoe, 2021 picks Nos. 10 and 40 and a protected 2022 first-round pick via the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell Adrian Wojnarowski.

Grizzlies will receive Steven Adams, Eric Bledsoe, 2021 picks (Nos. 10 and 40), and a protected 2022 first-round pick. Pelicans will receive Jonas Valanciunas, two 2021 picks (Nos. 17 and 51), per Adrian Wojnarowski.

^ According to Yahoo! Sports, the Grizzlies are not expected to keep Eric Bledsoe, who will be flipped to another team. Seems like his value has diminished and he is better suited to be a backup guard for a contending team.

I just marvel at the decision making of the Pelicans.  First they traded Jrue Holiday for Adams, Bledsoe and a bunch of picks.  Gave Adams a contract extension for 35M for 2 years and discovered in no time at all that the Zion-Adams pairing is a doomed experiment while they watched Jrue Holiday hoist that NBA championship trophy up in the air.

They now ship Adams and Bledsoe for Valenciunas in less than a year.  Another big to clog up the paint.  That's just great personnel management

Many sports analysts are saying that in order to free up Zion to wreak havoc, you need to unclog the paint.  He has no outside shot but is next to unstoppable in the paint.
Shades of Giannis back in 2019 when the Bucks got rid of their lumbering non shooting centers Thon Maker and John Henson and replaced them with Brook "Splash Mountain" Lopez who rarely ventures in the paint.  That adjustment unlocked the Greek Freak to a whole new level of being unstoppable.

Kaya naubos ang pasensya ni AD sa Pels eh.  after 7 years of futility eh nagising sa katotohanan yung tao na walang mangyayari sa kanya sa NOLA.

actually, trade doesn't make sense din from the Grizzlies point of view. i thought Valenciunas was doing well in their system.  not sure how Adams will be an upgrade over him especially since they're rumored not to be keeping Gordon anyway

had JV on my fantasy team last year. actually believe or not bumabato na siya ng tres haha mga 2 or 3 attempts siguro per game. and nakaka shoot din naman kahit papano. for sure better siya sa perimeter than adams na kahit FT e wala. i can see why the pels did it. baka itatry din nila idevelop pa ung tres ni JV this year.

They freed up some cap space. Hopefully they get the right guy just like a CP3 for PHO.  They have 2 very good talents in BI and Zion.  They just couldn't figure out how to best use Zion to maximize his superior talent,  Hopefully their new coach gets it right.

Agree.  Valanciunas was thriving at Memphis.  And Memphis needs him.

Defending the championship for the Bucks will begin this Free Agency season. Bryn Forbes opted out of the final year of his contract as expected.  By August 1 Bobby Portis will follow suit.  Both players expected to receive lucrative offers from different teams that value shooting.  Portis was #3 and Forbes #4 in 3 point field goal shooting last year (47% and 45%) and both players averaged a combined 20 pts per game in the regular season for the Bucks.  They played well above their contracts last season and got the ring to prove it. Time to cash in.

The Bucks are not in a position to retain the services of those two players due to their salary cap issues.  They are well over the luxury tax as it is.  If they lose both players, that will put a huge void in their bench unit however they can still make a run to re-sign PJ Tucker provided that he doesn't ask for the moon.

Thanasis is also an unrestricted free agent. You can bet that they will re-sign him just to keep Giannis happy.

The Bucks already committed half a Billion dollars in salary for 3 years to their big three (Giannis, Middleton and Holiday).

Keeping a championship core is expensive and difficult.

Looks like the Lakers are going to make a big move possibly as early as today on draft day with Harrell opting in. If they do proceed to trade for Russell Westbrook, I’m not sure how that solves their problems with outside shooting, defense, depth. Let’s see what Rob Pelinka has up his sleeves.

Other early trades being reported:

* PHX acquires Landry Shamet from BKN, which gets Jevon Carter and the Suns’ 29th pick in today’s draft

* CLE acquires Ricky Rubio, 2022 second round pick from MIN, which gets Taurean Prince

* DET is trading away Mason Plumlee and the 37th pick in today’s draft to CHA for its 57th pick. The Pistons really want to unload Plumlee  :)
