I lost all respect in LBJ when he made that big brouhaha of a deal in his first free agency.  That was pointless and it was just a show centered on him and nothing else.  Just sign the damn contract and thank your former team and move on. 

When he took the Cavs back from a 3-1 deficit in the finals against the supposedly greatest NBA Team ever was when I marveled at his ability to lead by example.  He was a monster in offense and defense in that series.   It took a KD reload to stack up the odds for the Warriors in the succeeding years in order for them to wrestle the championship back.

When he signed with the team that I am rooting for since grade school, I really wished back then that he would deliver a championship to the City which he did.  He needed a sidekick to accomplish that in AD and the timing was just right since the Warriors were reeling from injuries to Klay and KD signed somewhere else because he wanted more drama in his life. 

Fast forward three years after the Championship, it is clear that all the personnel movements signed off by none other than you know who began to backfire on them.  The biggest one was the signing of RW which from the get go the entire sports world knew that it would be a bad fit.

Thank you for the Championship LBJ but for the team to move into the future which you will not be part of due to your age, you do have to go so that the team can rebuild this wreck of a roster that you co signed and built.
