^ Yeah, a three-team trade is what will likely happen. I also don’t think the Nets see WB as the player who helps them this season or indirectly in future seasons even with his expiring contract. One of the tanking teams willing to take on WB’s contract and to part with role players needed by BKN will probably be involved.
I guess we’ll never know the real reason for Kyrie’s unexpected trade request. He has been playing well as of late to help the Nets stay in playoff contention (currently 4th in the East behind the favorites) without KD and to be voted an ASG starter. Surely he’s doing it to maximize his value for contract negotiations with the Nets. But whether it’s part of a deliberate plan to eventually force them to move him, I’m not sure about that.
